Bird of Hope

Though the light may disappear
And fade into the air,
It only takes your faith within
As strength is to a prayer.

Though sadness may forever hold
You depths within your mind,
The wind shall carry them awat
With hope just left behind.

Though you may give up strength within
As shadows in a moor,
The sun shall set, but comes again
And Hope shall smile and soar.

The darkest days may cast you down
To cry a tear of sorrow,
But the Bird of Hope shall bear its wings
Upon the dawn of tomorrow.
